Ghent, Belgium – 23 May 2024 – Atomyx, a 100% cloud-based print production management platform, will be making its trade show debut at drupa 2024, taking place from May 28th to June 7th at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. Launched by the team behind international distributor and integrator for the print industry Four Pees in February 2024, Atomyx is built on the vision of Connected Automation enabling the profitable production of individualised print jobs at scale. Atomyx will be exhibiting in Hall 7/F06 as part of dna – drupa next age, co-exhibiting with Four Pees and callas software.
Conversations around cloud-based solutions, automation, and boosting scalability and efficiency are set to be widespread at drupa 2024 as the global print industry battles a myriad of challenges, from rising raw material costs to margin erosion. As run lengths and turnaround expectations continue to trend downward to quantities as low as one, the need for streamlined processes has never been more critical. At drupa, visitors to the Atomyx booth will find out how the platform can keep them profitable amid the shift from mass production to mass customisation.
Atomyx is working with a number of pilot customers around the world in commercial print and publishing, as well as running successful integrations with OEM partners including web-to-print provider DesignNBuy and cloud MIS platform Omikai. “The integration of Omikai’s Cloud-MIS system and Atomyx’s Prepare and Manage automation software promises to revolutionise traditional print workflows and enable printing businesses to thrive in today’s fast-paced market,” comments Pontus Maltborg, Chief Commercial Officer, Omikai. “As Omikai and Atomyx continue to refine their offerings, the printing industry can expect to see further advancements that push the boundaries of what’s possible, setting new benchmarks and inspiring similar integrations across the board.”
“We have been looking to integrate preflighting and artwork processing in our products since last DRUPA in 2016. While our customers are processing incoming artwork with their on-premise tools, we always believed at least some level of quality control needs to happen in the cloud, before it is sent to production.” says Nidhi Argawal, CEO of DesignNBuy. “Atomyx Prepare provides us with the capability of offering early stage, cloud-native artwork processing without having to go back and forth between online and on-premise and eliminating the complexity and cost legacy software integration encompasses.”
Tom Peire, Chief Evangelist, Atomyx, comments: “‘We create the future’. That’s the theme of this year’s drupa, and we believe passionately that Atomyx is the future of printing efficiency, making 'print of one' not just economically viable but profoundly profitable. It’s been eight years since a drupa show and it’s hard to overstate just how much customer expectations have evolved in that time, so printers heading to drupa to explore ways of streamlining production workflows without the hassle should certainly come and talk to the Atomyx team – we’ve got the solution.”
